I’m a scholar, educator, and mom dedicated to bridging the gap between research and practice in PreK-12 so that kids benefit. I offer practical solutions by combining research & theory with more than a decade worth of classroom and school leadership experience.
Education +Community
As a biracial/mixed Black woman and mom of two multiracial kids, I’m excited about educating families and school communities about how to best support ‘mixed kids’ like me and mine. I’m passionate about youth-led advocacy that centers the voices of students and about building multi-racial coalitions to advance racial justice in our communities.
